The Foster Closet has launched a program: The Pathway
The Pathway Independent Living Program helps “AGING OUT” (18 yrs. old) teens who have been in Foster Care and are starting their journey of creating their own home.
The Foster Closet wants to help them! We expanded our storefront in October 2009 to provide more space so these aging out teens can pick out furniture and other needed household items, and then we want to help them move. Sadly our finances are limited to not having enough beds, dressers, sofas and dinettes for each teen moving out on their own. If you are able to help us with your very gently used furniture, please fill out the Contact Us Form today. If you are willing to offer a generous monetary donation, please contact us today. We want every teen to have a place to call their Home.
We are needing volunteers for deliver and pick ups for the Pathway young adults we serve.
Annual Fundraiser:
Work for one of our Fundraising Chairs (Auction or Sponsorship)
Get auction items
Be a volunteer for the day
FUTURE GOALS:
We would like to reach our annual budget and beyond to better serve the ones we help and to be able to reach our future goals. We would love to be Statewide and Nationwide for EVERY child to have the environment that they deserve!
Foster Closet's lease date is October, we are looking for a storefront 4,000 square feet or more. Foster Closet is needing more square feet for more inventory for the foster children we serve. This coming year we are also looking to start a Thrift Store to help finance the ones we serve.
Please help us serve our future children.
