Current Goals in Jacksonville, FL and beyond
The Foster Closet has launched a program: The Pathway
The Pathway Independent Living Program helps “AGING OUT” (18 yrs. old) teens who have been in Foster Care
and are starting their journey of creating their own home.
The Foster Closet wants to help them! We expanded our storefront in October 2009 to provide more space so these
aging out teens can pick out furniture and other needed household items, and then we want to help them move.
Sadly our finances are limited to not having enough beds, dressers, sofas, and dinettes for each teen moving out
on their own.
If you are able to help us with your very gently used furniture, please fill out the Contact Us Form
today. If you are willing to offer a generous monetary donation, please contact us today.
We are needing volunteers for delivery and pick ups for the Pathway young adults we serve.
We would love to have the opportunity to hire a Pathway young adult, while teaching them to learn business skills
work ethic and resume experience for their future careers and endeavors.

We would like to reach our annual budget and beyond to better serve the ones we help and to be able to reach our
future goals. We would love to be Statewide and Nationwide for EVERY child to have the environment that they
Became centrally located in Jacksonville in June, 2013 giving us the availability to serve the surrounding foster
communities more efficiently. Our space on Beach Blvd. also gave us the inventory space needed as we serve over
800 clients and the vast items given.
We have officially opened our new satellite location in High Springs, FL. Serving Alachua County and surrounding
areas, under the leadership of Partnership for Strong Families.
Please help us serve our future children.
